There's a lot going on down here!

It’s time to take the taboo out of these topics!

100% of the population has a pelvic floor.

100% of the population pees and poops.

51% of the planet is female...

and 100% of the worlds population is birthed by women.

And yet, surprisingly, almost nobody understands what this area of the body is or  what it does.  Birthing women are often clueless how it is impacted after carrying and birthing a baby.

I want to change that. I aim to equip women (young and old) with the facts they need to better care for their bodies.

This educational workshop is designed to demystify the elusive pelvic floor, and to shed some much needed light on how we can empower ourselves with necessary information to thrive.

What questions we will answer:

  • What is the pelvic floor (PF)?

  • Why is it so integral to my structural stability?

  • What is the role of the PF during pregnancy & labor?

  • What is the role of the PF during exercise (running, lifting, HIIT training/CrossFit)?

  • What is ‘normal’ vs ‘common’ PF function postpartum?

  • What are the leading causes of pelvic floor dysfunction (PFD)?

In addition, you will also learn:

  • How to identify the primary symptoms of PFD.

  • What steps to take to advocate for your quality of life and healthcare needs.

  • The MOST effective technique for reestablishing healthy PF coordination and control (and it’s easy, I promise)

Who is this workshop for?

  • Anyone with a PF! (Please note: all are welcome, but content is heavily curated for the biologically female body)

  • Anyone thinking about becoming pregnant.

  • Anyone who is pregnant and wants to feel empowered with information to thrive postpartum.

  • Anyone who has ever been pregnant. (Whether 6 weeks, 6 months, 6 or 16 years postpartum!)
